A morning with Sasha
I love a big production. Sometimes there’s more fun in the making then there is in the taking. Watching all the little pieces coming together … it’s like watching the cake being iced.
Although, sometimes I just like to grab a camera stuff and idea in it and start shooting. Way back when, I grabbed a friend, some white clothes and went hunting for chairs in alleys to see what would happen. I put some great shots in my book after those sessions. I wanted to get out there again and shoot something unscripted and spontaneous where I was in the scene but behind the camera. My friend Sasha works hard, and late and so gets a late start – late enough for me to gather up my camera bag and get to her bedroom door before she’s starts her day rolling.
